The hit West End and Broadway musical “Hamilton” is heading to Abu Dhabi for a short stint at Etihad Arena.
The Tony Award-winning musical, created by Lin-Manuel Miranda, has been a massive success since opening in 2015 and will make its Middle East debut on 17 January 2014 at Etihad Arena Abu Dhabi, running until 4 February 2024.
It tells the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton through a unique blend of hip-hop, R&B, and traditional show tunes.
The musical’s popularity is due in no small part to its unique approach to storytelling. The show’s diverse cast brings to life a pivotal moment in American history, but in a way that is both modern and accessible to a wide audience. The music is infectious and memorable, with catchy tunes that stay with you long after the show has ended.
The original Broadway production has also made it onto the small screen, with Disney+ making the show accessible to a wider audience.
The show has already toured extensively across the United States, Europe, and Asia, but its arrival in Abu Dhabi marks its Middle Eastern debut.
For fans of theatre and music, the chance to see Hamilton in Abu Dhabi is an opportunity not to be missed. Tickets are sure to sell out quickly, so those interested should act fast to secure their seats.
