British indie-pop band Bastille to perform at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on 1 November.
One of the most influential British bands of the last decade, Bastille, are preparing to bring a musical celebration to the Middle East. Marking the 10th Anniversary of their chart-conquering debut album, Bad Blood, the band are gearing up for a milestone performance at the Coca-Cola Arena on 1 November.
From its inception as a bedroom project by South Londoner Dan Smith in 2011, Bastille’s cinematic and melancholic brand of pop has garnered worldwide admiration. Their rise from modest beginnings to international acclaim can be traced through their discography, which includes renowned singles such as Pompeii, Of The Night, Good Grief, and the 2018 sensation Happier have hit a staggering 3.5 billion streams.
2023 marks the 10th Anniversary of Bastille’s chart-conquering debut album, ‘Bad Blood’. Originally released in 2013, ‘Bad Blood’ charted at number one on the UK Albums chart, spending three weeks at the top; earning the title of the UK’s biggest-selling digital album of 2013 and going on to achieve triple platinum status, with over 1 million copies sold in the UK alone.
In 2022 their album, ‘Give Me The Future’, brimming with literary and cinematic references, shot to number one in the Official UK Albums Chart.
Bastille have gone on to achieve international acclaim with nine UK Top 40 Singles; four Top 40 Albums; over 11 million worldwide sales; and streams surpassing seven billion.
