The Swedish popstar will take the stage at Global Village on Thursday, 18 April.
Just when you thought life in Dubai always comes with a hefty price tag, Global Village proves otherwise. The mega entertainment venue will close out its popular concert series with
Zara Larsson, and fans can catch her live on 18 April for only AED 22.5 — that’s the price of an entry ticket. The Swedish popstar isn’t the first big name to take the stage at Global Village either; Egyptian icon Amr Diab performed at the venue earlier this year.
As for the upcoming act? Larsson is one of the biggest stars to emerge out of Sweden – and Europe – in recent years, topping the charts with singles like “Lush Life”, “Symphony”, “Uncover”, and “Ain’t My Fault”. She has also joined forces with some of the biggest names in the industry — Scottish singer-songwriter Tom Walker, British rapper Tinie Tempah, and English electronic band Clean Bandit included. And with the singer-songwriter releasing her fourth studio album Venus last month through Epic Records, fans are in for a treat as a selection of its upbeat dance-pop tracks might make an appearance at the show next month.
Incidentally, the new album also features her collab with French DJ David Guetta for “On My Love”, which was released as the third single. It follows the duo’s first collaboration on the 2016 track, “This One’s for You”. Not only did it reach the top three in her native Sweden, but it was also the official UEFA Euro 2016 song. Kicking off at 8pm, her show at Global Village will take place at the main stage. Elsewhere, you can browse a staggering 3,500 shopping outlets as well as 27 pavilions representing over 90 cultures worldwide. Head to Global Village for more details.
