Presented by JA The Resort, the food and music festival will take over Dubai Media City Amphitheatre for two days later this month.
Another day, another festival prying us off our sofas and taking us outside — because it won’t stay this gloomy forever. Mark your calendars for the debut of Pub in the Park on Saturday, 20 April at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, an al fresco food and music festival that will pair food and entertainment with plenty of live music acts from the UK. A brainchild of JA The Resort, the new event will span two days and promises to fill a much-needed gap in Dubai’s already bustling event programme. So what’s on the agenda? A jam-packed line-up of eateries, pop-up pubs, and big activations, according to organisers.

Pub in the Park will be hosting some huge live acts, including rapper Professor Green, pop band Scouting for Girls, Heather Small of M People fame, and rock band Toploader. Chesney Hawkes, who needs no introduction, is also confirmed to perform. For those nostalgic for the tunes of eras past, some of the biggest tribute acts from around the world are also on the roster, so expect to see the next best thing after the likes of Abba, Oasis, Queen, and Ed Sheeran. “I am super excited about this one,” says an enthusiastic Professor Green. “It’s my first time performing in Dubai – I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to get here. And what better location? I’ve been looking at the set up at the Amphitheatre, and the people who have played here before. This is gonna be one crazy party! I can’t wait!”

“JA The Resort is thrilled to partner with Pub in the Park, a celebration of culinary excellence, live music, and community spirit,” adds Amit Alva, Executive Assistant Manager at JA The Resort. “As a destination dedicated to fostering unforgettable moments for families and communities, our collaboration underscores our commitment to providing cherished experiences where the love for exceptional food, diverse cultures, and vibrant entertainment converge. Together, we’re not just creating moments, but memories that resonate long after the last note fades and the final dish is savoured.” Food and tunes aside, there will be a dedicated kids’ area – complete with crafts, games, bouncy castles and more – to keep Pub in the Park a family-friendly affair.
Tickets are now available via Platinumlist, starting from AED 200.
