Moonlight Sessions by Cloud 22

Moonlight Sessions will launch at the iconic sky pool that crowns Atlantis The Royal this week.

With temperatures inching closer towards 40ºC than we’d care to accept, Cloud 22 at Atlantis The Royal has announced the next best thing after escaping to a more pleasant climate: Moonlight Sessions. Offering revellers the unique chance to spend an evening at one of the world’s most iconic skypools, they’ll launch on 25 April and take place every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7pm to 11pm.

Not only can you cool off in style, but also enjoy sweeping twilight views over the glittering Palm Jumeirah island, starting from AED 300 per person minimum spend. The Moonlight Sessions invite guests to enjoy an after-dark dip under the starlit sky in Cloud 22’s 90-metre sky pool before relaxing on a floating bed or in a luxury cabana. Guests can also enjoy sky-high sundowners at the Lotus Bar, located a staggering 96 metres above the Palm Jumeirah and Arabian Ocean as well as an array of live entertainment — a DJ, a violinist, and a saxophone player included.

Regarded as one of the world’s most iconic sky pool experiences, Cloud 22 features an endless infinity pool, floating beds, and 11 luxury cabanas with private plunge pools alongside a two-storey VVIP cabana complete with its own floating infinity pool. Designed by the award-winning GA Group, the venue features playful designs including the six acrylic Trumpets that adorn the sky pool, each surrounded by its own vapour cloud, which swirls around the flowers from day to night. Cloud 22 is also home to a Lotus Bar, inspired by the shape of a lotus leaf. Featuring a white steel structure 16 metres high and 26 metres wide from point to point, it boasts a swim-up bar that’s perfect for sundowners.

Additionally, guests can enjoy a selection of new packages available at Cloud 22: a morning experience from 10am to 2pm (starting at AED 275 per person), a sunset experience from 2pm to 6pm (starting at AED 350 per person), and a full day experience from 10am to 6pm (starting at AED 450 per person). The Moonlight Sessions start at AED 300 minimum spend per person for a spot at the Lotus Bar, including pool access.

As for those looking to add a splash of luxury to their night swim experience, the Lotus Floating Bed for two is AED 1,500, while the Infinity Floating Bed is AED 2,250 for two, including a choice of either a bottle of bubbles or spirits with mixers. For larger groups, luxury cabanas start from AED 3,500 for six guests, including a selection of bites and a bottle of bubbles or spirits and mixers. Cheers to the freakin’ weekend.
