The king of cake and EDM will take over Barasti Beach on Saturday, 25 January.
A long night of caking and crowd-surfing is in the works at Barasti Beach as Steve Aoki will return to Dubai for one night only — the legendary DJ and record producer will take the stage on Saturday, 25 January. Fans can expect all the elements that make his shows so iconic, high-octane energy and an electrifying set featuring all of EDM classics he is renowned for.
With chart-topping hits like “Pursuit of Happiness”, “Just Hold On”, and explosive collaborations with global superstars like BTS, Kid Cudi, and Louis Tomlinson, the DJ is synonymous with unforgettable nights out. He released his debut album, Wonderland, in 2012 that features vocals and collaborations with numerous well-known names including LMFAO, Kid Cudi, and Travis Barker and went on to be nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance and Electronica Album.
Aoki has since released three further albums all named Neon Future, parts I to III. Currently ranked at number 12 in the coveted DJ Mag Top 100, he has amassed a huge number of accolades during his career, performing at many of the world’s top festivals (read: Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Tomorrowland in Belgium, and Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas). Aoki last performed in Dubai alongside Afrojack at Coca-Cola Arena back in 2022, but this time around, it will be all about him at the city’s OG beach bar come January.
