The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group will celebrate 60 years of Pet Sounds with a one-night show at Coca-Cola Arena.
The Beach Boys will perform in Dubai for the first time with a one-night only show at Coca-Cola Arena, marking 60 years of their landmark album Pet Sounds.
Formed in California in 1961, the band has sold more than 100 million records worldwide and received over 33 Gold and Platinum awards from the Recording Industry Association of America. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 and honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammy Awards in 2001.
Across the 1960s and 1970s, The Beach Boys were among the most commercially successful American bands, shaping the sound of West Coast pop and influencing artists far beyond the surf rock era they helped popularise.
The setlist is expected to include Surfin’ USA, Fun, Fun, Fun, I Get Around and Good Vibrations, alongside selections from Pet Sounds, the 1966 release widely credited with shaping modern pop production.
In 2024, a feature-length documentary about the band was released on Disney+, introducing a new generation to their six-decade career. The Beach Boys also released Sounds Of Summer: The Very Best Of The Beach Boys, a 30-track collection, selling more than three million copies in the US.
Lead vocalist Mike Love said: “Dubai has shown us so much love from afar, and we’ve been blown away watching our audience there grow year after year. Streaming in the UAE has climbed by double digits for the past four years. We can’t wait to bring The Beach Boys to Coca-Cola Arena for our first-ever show in the city.”
The current touring line-up features Mike Love alongside musical director Brian Eichenberger, Christian Love, Tim Bonhomme, Jon Bolton, Keith Hubacher, Randy Leago, John Wedemeyer and Chris Cron.
