Casio’s new EDIFICE watch brings automatic movement to everyday style

  • 1 July 2026

Casio EDIFICE EFK-110D

The EFK-110D pairs a textured dial, compact 38mm case and Japanese-made automatic movement with a design made for daily wear.

There’s something satisfying about wearing a mechanical watch. No charging cable, no screen, no notifications. Just a movement working quietly on your wrist.

Casio is leaning into that feeling with the launch of the new EDIFICE EFK-110D, an automatic timepiece designed for people who want the look and feel of a mechanical watch without saving it only for special occasions. The model is available with a black, blue or white dial, offering three distinct finishes while maintaining the same understated design.

The new model features a compact 38mm stainless-steel case, giving it a more refined fit than many oversized sports watches. Brushed and polished finishes keep the design clean, while the stainless-steel bracelet makes it easy to wear with everything from office shirts to weekend outfits.

Inside, the EFK-110D is powered by a Japanese-made automatic movement with an approximate 42-hour power reserve. That means it winds as you wear it and can keep running for almost two days when taken off. A transparent case back also lets you see the movement in action, which is always part of the appeal with mechanical watches.

The dial is where the watch gets a little more character. Casio has used a specialised electroforming technique to create a textured finish, adding depth without making the face feel busy. Raised indexes, a detailed dial ring and partially hollowed hour and minute hands keep things sharp and easy to read.

It’s practical too. The watch comes with sapphire crystal, which is known for its scratch resistance, and 100m water resistance, making it suitable for day-to-day wear.

As with the wider EDIFICE collection, the EFK-110D takes subtle inspiration from automotive design, but this doesn’t feel like a watch made only for motorsport fans. It’s more of a polished everyday automatic with enough detailing to keep things interesting.

The Casio EDIFICE EFK-110D is now available at select Casio EDIFICE retailers and online through Casio Middle East and Africa.
