Boutique fitness brand 1Rebel will open its first Dubai studio this October. Named the King of Gyms and synonymous with high-intensity fitness experiences, 1Rebel first launched in the UK in 2015. Co-founded by James Balfour and Giles Dean, 1Rebel revolutionised and disrupted the London fitness scene with their dynamic fitness concepts and focus on innovative interior design, with 12 boutique fitness clubs across the capital, as well as studios in Australia and Saudi Arabia.
The soon-to-open 1Rebel Dubai will encapsulate a raw, contemporary, and chic urban aesthetic balanced with luxury. The venue allows guests to undertake their own workout, complete with TechnoGym equipment and features a cardio, resistance, free-weights, and strength zone. The studio also offers clients a choice of two classes, taught by world-class trainers.
Ride is 1Rebel’s signature spinning concept and involves riding to the beat within a fully immersive space, evoking a euphoric nightclub vibe. The 45-minute class includes slow resistance-filled inclines, fast-paced sprinting, and a weight sequence for the upper body, providing a full body workout guaranteed to get the endorphins flowing.
Reshape is 1Rebel’s most popular workout and comprises a 45-minute full-body workout. Encompassing quick-fire rounds of high-powered treadmill intervals, including sprints, dynamic mode and endurance running, alongside dynamic weight sequences, designed to condition and sculpt selected muscle groups, boosting your endorphins and fitness levels.
For a post-workout pamper, guests can retreat to the luxe changing rooms, featuring chilled towels, oversized showers, spacious lockers, and dedicated vanity areas stocked with indulgent skin and hair products. A visit to the Shake Bar is a key part of the 1Rebel experience and includes a range of nourishing and refreshing shakes and smoothies.
To celebrate the launch, 1Rebel is set to release a limited number of founding memberships with a 20% discount. Those looking to secure the exclusive memberships are encouraged to sign-up on the 1Rebel website. Founding Rebels can enjoy unlimited access to classes and the gym floor, with the option of a six-month agreement for AED 1,040 (AED 1,300 full price) per month or a rolling monthly contract with no minimum term for AED 1440 (AED 1,800 full price) per month.
