Prepare to groove because Nile Rodgers and his legendary band will open the brand-new outdoor stage at Bla Bla Dubai on Saturday, 4 November 2023.
Nile Rodgers, a musical genius celebrated for his profound contributions to the music world, is an inductee into both the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. With numerous Grammy Awards to his name, Rodgers is a songwriter, composer, producer, arranger, and guitarist.
Co-founded by Nile Rodgers, Chic pioneered a musical language that spawned chart-topping hits like Le Freak, which remains the best-selling single in Atlantic Records’ history. Their timeless tracks not only set dance floors ablaze but also played a pivotal role in shaping the musical landscape.
Rodgers’ influence extends beyond Chic, as he has produced songs for legendary artists such as David Bowie (Let’s Dance), Madonna (Like A Virgin), and Duran Duran (The Reflex). His collaborations with the Chic Organization have included classics like We Are Family with Sister Sledge and I’m Coming Out with Diana Ross. On the evening, doors will open at 5pm, treating attendees to the sounds of talented DJs and an outstanding support band. Nile Rodgers and Chic will grace the stage later in the evening, with the event expected to conclude at 10:30pm.
