Comedian Shawn Chidiac will host Ghassan Luqman and Karim Nassar for the second edition of his sit-down talk show.
If you’re one of the nearly half a million people following the comedic exploits of Shawn Chidiac via Instagram account @myparents_are_divorced, listen up: the Lebanese-Canadian comedian is returning to VOX Cinemas Mercato Mall for a second instalment of Same Same, But Different on Saturday, 1 June.
This time around, Chidiac will be joined by two guests: Saudi photographer Ghassan Luqman and Egyptian skateboarder Karim Nassar. For the uninitiated, Same Same, But Different is a series of comedic sit-down talks that feature surprise guests and will take place every month at VOX Cinemas Mercato Mall until the end of the year.
Chidiac, an up-and-coming homegrown comedian, is known for the hilarious impersonations and skits on his social media accounts. His content frequently revolves around everyday scenarios, cultural observations, and lighthearted takes on family dynamics. With time, Chidiac has successfully transitioned from social media fame to live comedy performances and podcast-style talks.
