The Grammy-winning band will headline Etihad Park on Saturday, 5 December, joining Lewis Capaldi and Zara Larsson on the Yasalam lineup.
Imagine Dragons have been confirmed as the headline act for the after-race concerts at the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, taking to the stage at Etihad Park on Saturday, 5 December.
Formed in Las Vegas in 2008, the band comprising Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee and Daniel Platzman broke through with their debut album Night Visions in 2012, which produced Radioactive, a track that spent over 80 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and won a Grammy for Best Rock Performance. They’ve since sold over 75 million records worldwide and completed five world tours, most recently wrapping up the Loom World Tour in support of their sixth studio album, which drew 2.2 million fans across 94 shows.They join Lewis Capaldi and Zara Larsson, who are confirmed for the Thursday night show on 3 December, with more artists still to be announced for the remaining nights.
Access to the after-race concerts is included with all Abu Dhabi Grand Prix tickets, which are available across general admission, grandstands and hospitality categories, with prices starting from AED 995. Fans can also upgrade to the Golden Circle for a closer spot to the stage.
Last year’s edition of the Grand Prix welcomed a record 339,000 attendees across the weekend, including 136,000 at the after-race concerts and official after parties.
This year’s event is the 18th edition of the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, running from Thursday, 3 December to Sunday, 6 December at Yas Marina Circuit on Yas Island, just after the National Day holiday.
