The UK jacket potato brand is making its UAE move permanent after a successful pop up at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
SpudBros is officially opening its first permanent UAE location, with the UK food brand heading to The Galleria Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi.
The brand, known for its loaded jacket potatoes, is expected to open at the mall before the end of 2026.
This will be SpudBros’ first permanent location outside the UK and follows a successful pop up at the 2025 Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix, where the brand proved hugely popular with racegoers.
Founded by brothers Jacob and Harley Nelson, SpudBros has built something of a cult following in the UK, helped by its hugely popular social media videos showing off its generously loaded baked potatoes.
Its menu keeps things simple, with hot jacket potatoes piled high with a range of fillings, toppings and sauces. No word yet on a UAE twist, but we would not rule out a gold leaf spud.
The new Abu Dhabi location is expected to offer dine in, takeaway and delivery.

SpudBros has partnered with UAE based Forward Hospitality for its move into the market, making Abu Dhabi the starting point for the brand’s international expansion.
And if the first permanent location proves as popular as its Grand Prix pop up, could we see SpudBros popping up elsewhere across the UAE too?
An exact opening date for SpudBros at The Galleria Al Maryah Island has not yet been announced, but it is expected to open before the end of 2026.
