The new three-day event will bring together more than 100 speakers from technology, media, government and investment
Ryan Reynolds, YouTube co-founder Steve Chen and Tucker Carlson are among the first names confirmed for LIVEX 2026, a new three-day event coming to Abu Dhabi later this month.
The inaugural Livability and Investment Exhibition will take place at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from September 29 to October 1.
More than 100 speakers are expected to take part, with the programme focused on how cities can improve quality of life while continuing to attract talent, investment and long-term economic growth.
Other confirmed speakers include former Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo, former Bogotá mayor Enrique Peñalosa and former Melbourne lord mayor Sally Capp.
Climate leader Christiana Figueres, Udacity founder Sebastian Thrun and actor and environmental advocate Adrien Grenier are also on the line-up.
Alongside the main conference, LIVEX will include a dedicated Investors Lounge in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office and Mubadala.
Organisers expect around 20,000 visitors, more than 40 exhibitors and participants from over 50 countries across the three days.
The event will also extend beyond ADNEC, with several community activations planned across Abu Dhabi in the run-up.
These include a travelling public installation inviting residents to share what makes the city a great place to live, as well as a cycling-based Community Tour through different neighbourhoods and public spaces.
Children across the emirate will also take part through an initiative called Imagine What’s Next, with selected artwork set to appear in a digital mural at the event.
The full LIVEX 2026 speaker line-up is expected to be announced ahead of the event.
