Evenings dedicated to soul, jazz, Motown and R&B are now on the agenda at the sophisticated DIFC steakhouse.
With the return of live entertainment permitted in line with the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, chic steakhouse Bull & Bear at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre has curated a selection of bespoke musical experiences for guests to enjoy.
Leading up to the weekend, a series of live music events designed to inspire guests will occur on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings.
Soul Tuesday’s are inspired by singer-songwriter and acclaimed pianist Ray Charles and invite guests to lose themselves in a musical journey dedicated to 1950’s New Orleans soul. During the evening, guests are encouraged to tuck into a selection of Bull & Bear signature dishes such as Josper baked scallops, complimented by an array of options from the venues private cellar. Tuesday, from 8pm to 11pm.
Jazzy Wednesdays intend to instil guests with a sense of fun and frivolity, featuring a jazz soundtrack accompanied by a sophisticated steakhouse environment, crafted drinks, impeccable service and a range of gastronomic delights. Wednesday, from 7pm to 11pm.
Kick start the weekend with Mo-Town Magic on Thursday evenings, where the a la carte dining experience is elevated via a series of Motown performances from Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre’s in-house musician, Richie. Thursdays, from 8pm to 11pm.
Friday nights are home to R&B Fridays, where a soulful mix of R&B hits will accompany dinner to heighten and enliven the dining experience. Take in the Burj Khalifa views while dining on signature prime cuts paired with a grape selection. Fridays, from 8pm to 11pm.
In addition to the four music-driven events leading into the weekend, Bull & Bear have also announced the return of its popular “The Bull of Wall Street” brunch. Tipping its hat to the fun-loving traders from the ’80s and ’90s, diners can expect top-notch fun, food and surprises.
The live house-band will perform a set-list of classic covers while brunch-goers enjoy a fine selection of signature dishes such as Alligator Pear, Wagyu Beef Tartare, Beef Rossini, Prawn Cocktail and a delectable dessert selection consisting in Ring The Bell, Magnum Cheesecake and the infamous Jackpot.
