The highest restaurant on Palm Jumeriah will offer a unique blend of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisines.
Internationally acclaimed restaurant SUSHISAMBA, in partnership with Sunset Hospitality Group, will open its first-ever Middle East location in Dubai this November. SUSHISAMBA Dubai will merge dynamic interiors with signature fare to create an unforgettable dining experience. Known for its unique blend of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian culture and cuisine and its passion for music, art and design, the Dubai restaurant will represent the brand’s latest international location, bringing with it a new, elevated SUSHISAMBA experience inspired by the refined glamour of Dubai.
Located on the 51st floor of Palm Tower, 230 meters atop the Palm Jumeirah, SUSHISAMBA Dubai will offer unobstructed, 360-degree views of the Palm Jumeirah coastline, the Arabian Gulf, Ain Dubai, and the Dubai skyline. Home to some of Dubai’s most luxurious hotels and resorts, sophisticated malls, striking beaches, and premium residences, Palm Jumeirah is widely recognised as one of the most exclusive addresses in the world. The opening of SUSHISAMBA Dubai, the highest restaurant on the Palm Jumeirah, coincides with the artificial island’s 20th anniversary.

The interiors of SUSHISAMBA Dubai reflect the spirit of Japan, Brazil and Peru, embracing bold architectural gestures and graphics to create a destination that offers bespoke day and night dining experiences. Designed to be an oasis in the sky, the 12,000 sq ft. space offers 360-degree floor-to-ceiling windows that capitalise on the restaurant’s unique location.
SUSHISAMBA Dubai will present a host of inviting, multi-dimensional and multi-sensory dining experiences, immersing guests in a culinary journey from the minute they enter the space. The restaurant’s bar and lounge area, which pays tribute to Japan’s aesthetic and cultural sensibilities, presents an expression of balance and proportion, merging nuanced details and natural materials with influences of geometry and nature. In addition, a DJ booth elevates the setting with beats that complement the restaurant’s dynamic essence.

The main dining area nests under the restaurant’s 3D printed bamboo ceiling, which builds upon the drama introduced within the design of the lounge space. A theatre-style open kitchen featuring a sushi counter and robata grill takes centre stage in the dining room, whilst a unique Tsukiji Market accentuates the finesse of Japanese culinary traditions.
SUSHISAMBA Dubai’s menu will showcase the brand’s culinary creativity, which eloquently blends Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisines. Committed to providing the most authentic dining experience, most of the seafood and fish at SUSHISAMBA Dubai will be flown in from Japan, including the Kinmedai, Amberjack, Hirame, and Tuna, to ensure the highest quality and freshest produce. Committed to supporting local businesses and sustainability, SUSHISAMBA Dubai will source fresh, organic vegetables and produce from UAE-based farms.

Signature dishes on the menu include the Crispy Hokkaido Scallop, Crispy Yellowtail Taquitos, Japanese A5 Wagyu Beef Gyoza, Pulpo Asado, Wagyu A4 Japanese Claypot, Seviche Platter and Peruvian Corn Salad. To commemorate the opening of its Dubai location, the signature SAMBA roll, which is available in all SUSHISAMBA venues worldwide, will be named SAMBA Dubai roll to pay tribute to the dynamic and colourful city we call home. The opulent roll comprises fresh lobster, succulent mango, creamy avocado, delicate soy paper and decadent aji honey truffle.
