Described as the city’s hottest debut of 2024, FIVE LUXE will open its doors on 31 March.
In a city reputed for glamour and partying, FIVE Palm Jumeirah has essentially set the bar for all things indulgence since its opening in 2017. Now, a sister property entitled FIVE LUXE is set to debut on 31 March, and it promises to redefine beachfront R&R as we know it. Framed against striking vistas of the shimmering Arabian Gulf and landmarks like Ain Dubai and Palm Jumeirah, this glamorous resort will expectedly bring epic beach parties and high-octane entertainment to JBR. Here’s what to expect.
Ibiza Vibes
Dubai partygoers are in for a treat as the iconic Pacha Group debuts its sprawling private beach club Playa Pacha at FIVE LUXE, bringing with it the perpetually electrifying energy of Ibiza. Expect a waterfront celebration of luxury, complete with Mediterranean culinary delights, exquisite sips and live entertainment curated by the pioneers of Ibiza’s cultural movement. We’re told that Adam Port and Rampa will kick off Playa Pacha Icons, a limited series showcasing the world’s top music talent, on 13 April. The Keinemusik duo will perform an exclusive, unmissable party of genre-defying fusion of house, techno, and Afro rhythms. The series will continue with eight more events headlined by some of the world’s biggest artists in the coming months.
Suite Stays
The decadence continues over at 222 hotel rooms and suites, and a staggering 276 lavish residences for “All-You-Can-Play” celebrations. FIVE LUXE’s Pool Party Rooms, as their name suggests, feature private pools. The Signature Suites beckon guests to “Come, Play and Slay” in unparalleled luxury, while star-studded celebrations fit for a total rockstar will play out in the Baller Suite. Alternatively, you can experience music-inspired extravagance in the FIVE Vibe Suite.
For those seeking the ultimate party experience, unwind and revel in the Epic Pool Party Suite with XL Pool or take the afterparty to new heights with your own DJ booth and dance floor in the FAB Suite. Like other properties in the FIVE portfolio, guests will be spoiled for choice as FIVE LUXE will debut with seven distinct dining and nightlife venues. At Ronin a live cooking teppanyaki and sushi bar awaits as well as intimate dining at pagoda-style sharing tables. Spirits will run high at Paradiso, the World’s Best Bar, boasting magical surrealism in every sip. Pub lovers will find their fix at Goose Island Tap House, Dubai’s most-awarded craft brew venue — ales, tasty bites and entertainment are on the roster.
Bask in the sunny skies of Cielo, an all-day dining venue where every meal is a celebration of the good life. Experience the pulsating energy of Ibiza and come play at Playa Pacha, where Mediterranean flair will be accompanied by all-day parties. And for a taste of French sophistication, Tête à Tête is expected to debut in August 2024 with its Monte Carlo bistro ambience and jewel-box bar.
Urban Escape
True to the DNA of FIVE, the spa at FIVE LUXE, will pair tranquillity with extravagance. ReFIVE Spa will offer a range of transformative treatments — think healing quartz beds, luxurious Ayurvedic rituals such as stress-relieving Shirodhara Abhyanga, muscle recovery ice therapy, traditional Hammam rituals, and Linda Meredith facials. Wellness seekers can also unwind at a state-of-the-art indoor pool or the picturesque rooftop terrace after crushing their fitness goals at the expansive, 24/7 gym that includes an outdoor workout terrace.
Further Ahead
As the centrepiece of FIVE LUXE’s exclusive private island in the Persian Gulf, Lío Dubai will launch a legendary Spanish cabaret show paired with a hedonistic fusion of partying and fine dining in 2025. Here, playful sophistication will meet innovative Mediterranean cuisine, transforming dishes into edible art. Designed as a metaphorical “floating oyster emerging from the sea”, its architecture embodies the essence of a shell, preserving its richness within. The roof reflects the hues of seashells and pearls, casting different shades with the sun’s reflection. Guests will embark on a journey into the deep sea upon stepping inside, with the entrance mirroring the transition from sand to water through wooden mural panels.
The Tequila and Cocktail bar area captures the essence of water, with turquoise tones and textured brass finishes evoking the softness and movement of waves at sunset. Inside, the main sala will envelope guests in an underwater realm, with illuminated crystal balls mimicking water bubbles and mosaic floors mirroring ocean currents. Sculptural elements and decorative murals of mythical mermaids and mermen, meanwhile, will inspire fantasy as guests explore the venue. On the terrace, echinoids inspire three-dimensional ceramic tiles adorning the bar and furniture, completing the immersive aquatic experience at Lío Dubai. To say its opening is highly anticipated is an understatement.
