Emaar Properties has announced a major expansion of Dubai Mall, which will include 240 new luxury stores and food and beverage outlets. The new development, which is already underway is expected to cost AED 1.5 billion.

In 2023, Dubai Mall became the most visited place on Earth achieving a new attendance record with 105 million visitors, a 19% increase from the previous year.
Dubai Mall, which opened in 2008 is among the biggest malls globally and is home to over 1200 stores, 200 restaurants, an aquarium, Olympic-sized ice-skating rink, virtually reality park and indoor theme park.
