Busted and Sugababes are coming to Bla Bla Dubai

Mixtape Dubai will take place on Saturday, 18 November.

Fans of noughties nostalgia take note. Busted, Snap!, Sugababes and Vengaboys will take to the stage at Bla Bla Dubai for a new event called Mixtape Dubai.

Grab your iPods and body glitter and update your MySpace page in preparation for this throwback party hosted by DJ Chris Moyles that brings together some of the biggest acts from the noughties for a night of revelry and nostalgia.

British pop-rock band Busted burst onto the music scene in the early 2000s with hits like What I Go to School For and Year 3000. The trio comprised Charlie Simpson, Matt Willis, and James Bourne, who rose to fame with their infectious blend of catchy melodies and witty lyrics. Continued to release successful albums like A Present for Everyone (2003), Night Driver (2016) and Half Way There (2019).

The Sugababes are Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan, and Siobhán Donaghy. The trio gained early success with their debut album One Touch, before the hit singles Freak Like Me, Push the Button and Stronger propelled them to global superstardom.

German electronic dance act Snap! first burst onto the music scene in the early 1990s. Their debut single The Power was an international sensation, blending rap and house beats. Snap! continued to produce chart-topping hits, including Exterminate and Rhythm Is a Dancer, popularising Eurodance and igniting dance floors in the process.

The Dutch Eurodance group Vengaboys were formed in 1997 and are known for their infectious, high-energy music that defined the late 1990s and early 2000s dance scene. The group, consisting of members Kim Sasabone, Denise Post-Van Rijswijk, Robin Pors, and Donny Latupeirissa, achieved global fame with hits like We Like to Party (The Vengabus), Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom and Up and Down.
