The legend will headline the first ever Abu Dhabi Comedy Week next month.
Dave Chappelle has long been a comedic legend, but he’s top of mind among comedy fans across the country today — the Emmy Award winner is confirmed to headline the Abu Dhabi Comedy Week on Thursday, 23 May. A collaboration between Live Nation Middle East and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, the festival’s inaugural edition will run from 18 to 26 May at Etihad Arena, bringing with it a stellar line-up and myriad of unmissable shows.
We’ve already reported on the likes of Aziz Ansari, Bassem Youssef, Maz Jobrani, Kevin Bridges, Tom Segura, Chris Tucker, and Andrew Schulz bringing their unique brand of humour to Abu Dhabi audiences, collectively making for a laughter-fuelled extravaganza that’s unprecedented in the UAE. As for Chappelle? Well, it’s not exactly his first time on our shores. He performed at Dubai World Trade Centre back in November 2018, and his boundary-pushing comedy has since continued to stir global anticipation and pack major venues worldwide. The upcoming stand-up show at the Abu Dhabi Comedy Week will mark his debut in the capital.
