The Dubai Bling star will perform live at Coca-Cola Arena – and he’s bringing friends.
Emirati DJ Bliss is bringing a bit of bling to Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena with the announcement that he will headline a show at the 17,000-capacity arena on Sunday, 19 March.
DJ Bliss began mixing beats with the goal of getting invited to the popular high school parties. However, he is now on track to make history as the first Emirati DJ to headline a show at Dubai’s premier live entertainment venue. Moreover, the occasion will also serve as the venue’s inaugural hosting of a headline performance by a local DJ.
Born Marwan Al Awadhi, the DJ has performed for the likes of Beyoncé, Drake, Nicki Minaj and Prince. He recently joined forces with reggae star Shaggy on hit single Halla Walla and Yalla Africa, featuring Uganda’s Triplets Ghetto Kids dance group,
DJ Bliss expresses his excitement saying, “I’ve been opening for other artists all my life, so when I opened for Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson last year at the Coca-Cola Arena, I looked around and thought, I’m going to make this happen. I will headline my own event. It might not be a big deal to some people but for a kid born and raised in Dubai, to be able to headline a show in my own city, for my own people, it’s a dream come true!”.
Most recently, DJ Bliss has been seen on the Netflix reality show Dubai Bling. We hear the concert will be a night to remember. Expect exciting surprises throughout the evening as members of the Dubai Bling cast join DJ Bliss to dance the night away.
