Set to take over Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on 13 April, the techno and house music festival promises a party unlike any other.
Inflatable spaceships, oversized ball pits, dancers on stilts, and enough glitter to keep Mariah Carey satisfied — no two Elrow parties are alike, but they’re simply unmissable every time. Following the sold-out 2023 edition that brought the likes of Idris Elba, Alisha, and Armand Van Helden to a staggering 18,000 concertgoers, the global techno and house music festival will return to Dubai for Elrow XXL 2024 on 13 April, this time debuting its iconic Kaleidoscopic Dream stage in the Middle East.
Unlike last year, the 2024 edition of Elrow Dubai XXL will take place at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre. And once again, an immersive experience of epic proportions (complete with confetti showers, video mapping, and pulsating beats) is in the works. Australian DJ and music producer Fisher is confirmed to headline the event, so expect a high-octane performance rooted in his signature tech-house sound — not to mention that trademark bucket hat.
You might know Fisher from hits such as “You Little Beauty”, “Take It Off”, and “Losing It”, the latter of which was nominated for a Grammy in the Best Dance Recording category at the 2019 Grammy Awards. He has already performed at mega music festivals worldwide, Romania’s Saga Festival and San Francisco’s Outside Lands included. Also on the Elrow XXL roster? English DJ and record producer Eats Everything, Scottish DJ Arielle Free, Elrow resident De La Swing, and Toni Varga of “Just Be” fame. An additional special guest is yet to be announced, which we’ll await with bated breath.

For the uninitiated, Elrow’s success dates back to 2010 — the late 19th century, in fact, if you take a closer look at its origin story. Its founders, Juan Arnau Jr and Cruz Arnau, first hosted a Sunday bash at a venue named El Row (hence the festival’s name) in Barcelona, but throwing parties is actually in their DNA. Their ancestors opened the first social club in the Spanish town of Fraga back in 1870.
Today, the Arnau family runs a brand famed for hosting carnivalesque events in cities across the globe: London, Chicago, Frankfurt, Antwerp, Amsterdam, and more. With performances starting at 6pm, the upcoming edition in Dubai Media City will accommodate not only 12,000 melomaniacs, but also Elrow’s largest stage in the Middle East. Let the fiesta commence.
Starting at AED 350, tickets ranging from general admission to VIP and table packages are still available via Platinumlist.
