This music festival will take over Etihad Park on Friday, 11 March 2023.
Rapper M.I.A. will perform at the Abu Dhabi edition of Wireless Festival at Etihad Park, Yas Island. She joins a star-studded lineup including Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Wegz, Black Sherif, Ali Gatie, King, Divine, and Young Stunners.
With roots in music from an early age, Mathangi Arulpragasam, who performs under the stage name M.I.A., started as a visual artist, filmmaker, and designer. Known for her forward-thinking approach to culture, M.I.A. constantly evolves, reflecting her immense creativity, exceptional instincts, and a position at the forefront of social, aesthetic, and musical trends. Fans can look forward to an eclectic mix of alternative, dance, electronic, hip hop and world music across popular tracks Bad Girls, Borders, XXXO and Paper Planes.
Adding to the exciting announcement of M.I.A.’s addition to the Wireless Festival Middle East lineup, another female rapper, Raja Kumari, has also been confirmed to bring her powerful vocals to the Wireless stage. Best known for her collaborations with Gwen Stefani, Iggy Azalea, Fifth Harmony, Knife Party and Fall Out Boy, fans of the Californian-born artist can expect to hear the singles N.R.I., City Slums, Shook and Roots.
$kinny, Dizzytooskinny, Dafencii, and Casa Vince have all also joined the lineup to bolster the star-studded selection of musical talent. Whilst DJ Nico and DJ Liutik will complete the musical mastery.
