Dubai Summer Surprises and GME Events have announced that Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe will present their popular podcast Parenting Hell at Dubai Opera on Monday, 3 July 2023. Boasting almost 50 million downloads and topping the charts, the podcast sees the pair discussing the highs and lows of parenthood and life, from the pressures of sleep deprivation to building a trampoline in the dark. After entertaining listeners throughout the global pandemic, they’re now stepping out for a night on the town with a Middle East exclusive show in Dubai.
The show has garnered rave reviews, with the NME calling it “a hilarious cry for help” from two dads, and The Daily Telegraph describing it as a source of “upbeat conversations responding to the madness of this year while sharing its harder moments, all giving an essential shot of human contact.”
Rob Beckett is an English comedian and television presenter. He began his career as a stand-up comedian in 2009 and quickly gained popularity for his unique style of observational humour. Rob has since gone on to host various television shows, including All Together Now and has made regular appearances on panel shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats and Mock the Week.
Comedian, radio and television presenter Josh Widdicombe rose to fame as a stand-up comedian in 2008 and has since become a regular fixture on UK television, appearing on shows such as The Last Leg and Mock the Week. He is known for his deadpan delivery and ability to find humour in everyday situations.
