The comedy legend will bring his Relax World Tour to Dubai on Saturday, 25 October.
It’s official: Dubai will be pulsating with laughter come fall. Only two weeks after the Dubai Comedy Festival wraps up, Russell Peters will take the Coca‑Cola Arena stage as part of his Relax World Tour on 25 October.
Presented by Live Nation Middle East, this show not only promises fans an unforgettable night of comedy, but also marks the comedian’s highly anticipated return to Dubai. Incidentally, it’s also six years since Peters made history as Coca-Cola Arena’s very first headliner with a sold-out show that opened the venue’s doors, making this a full-circle moment not to be missed.
The Relax World Tour has already visited more than 100 cities across North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia, and showcases Peters’ signature style, an improvised, fast-paced set full of observational humour, spontaneous audience interactions, and laugh-out-loud storytelling. And according to the comedy icon, it’s named after a surprisingly simple concept. “We live in a time where everything’s intense, everyone’s on edge, and we all need to just take a breath and laugh again,” he says. The show therefore touches on everything from generational gaps and parenting to relationships and life on the road, all told through his honest and hilarious views. It’s real, it’s raw, and it’s exactly what fans have come to love.
Named one of 50 Best Comics of All Time by Rolling Stone, Peters rose to fame with his breakout special Comedy Now! in 2004 and quickly gained a massive international following through viral clips and sold-out tours. He was the first comedian to sell out Toronto’s Air Canada Centre, London’s O2 Arena, and Madison Square Garden in New York. His tours consistently rank among the highest-grossing globally, and he remains one of the most in-demand comics worldwide.
Peters has also starred in numerous hit specials including Outsourced, Red, White and Brown, Almost Famous, and Deported, and appeared in films like Chef, Source Code, and The Clapper. Most recently, he launched his podcast Culturally Cancelled and made a special appearance in the Netflix series The Indian Detective. Tickets to his upcoming show in Dubai are on sale now via livenation.me and coca-cola-arena.com.
