Following a two year hiatus, the Middle East’s favourite streetwear and contemporary culture festival is back!
Sole DXB is set to return to Dubai from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 December 2022. Although the location is still to be announced, we expect the event will be held in the vibrant d3 district, as in previous years.
What started as a grassroots movement in 2010, has grown to encompass a festival, creative agency, and basketball league. Sole is seen as the leading voice for youth and contemporary culture in the Middle East.
The Dubai-based festival is known for its multiformat programming that encompasses three nights and two days of live music performances, DJ sets, film screenings, talks, workshops and sports tournaments. Sole DXB has long served as the premier experiential platform for the world’s top brands.
The 2019 edition of the festival headlined by Wu-Tang Clan was attended by over 36,000 people, with over 100 performers, designers, speakers, and more than 80 brands participating over three nights.
While we can only speculate about who this year’s headline acts will be. However, previous years have seen big names like Nas, Koffee, Sho Madjozi, Skepta, Stormzy, Hiroshi Fujiwara, Petra Collins, Scottie Pippen and Kerby-Jean Raymond take to the Sole DXB stage.
