Prepare for some serious belly laughs with the return of the Dubai Comedy Festival.
There will be belly laughs aplenty this May with the return of the Dubai Comedy Festival. Running for eleven fun days from 12 to 22 May in multiple hotspots across Dubai, the festival will unleash a jam-packed line-up of some of the world’s funniest comedians.
This year’s line-up features the planet’s funniest people, including Josh Widdicombe, Vir Das, Jo Koy, Gad Elmaleh and Russell Peters, with more artists set to be announced very soon.
After selling out The Coca Cola Arena earlier this month, global comedy superstar Russell Peters is coming back to Dubai to launch the Dubai Comedy Festival on 12 May at The Agenda. This special return for his popular ‘Act Your Age’ World Tour also features opening act Alingon Mitra and DJ Starting From Scratch. With back-to-back achievements highlighting his ever-growing comedy career, Vir Das has become a name synonymous with the brand of Indian comedy that is scaling global heights. With achievements including Netflix specials, world tours and international projects, India’s highest-selling comedian is back on 13 May at The Agenda.
As one of today’s premier stand-up comedians, Jo Koy produces uniquely relatable comedy inspired by his family. Due to overwhelming demand, Koy will bring his Funny Is Funny World Tour to Dubai this year for just one night. From impersonations to stand-up, Jo Koy – inspired by his life experiences – is guaranteed to deliver a night of entertainment on 14 May at Coca Cola Arena.
The guy everyone can do an impression of is back with a brand-new stand-up tour. It’ll be a hilarious night of grumbles and jokes in which Josh Widdicombe will finally tackle the hot comedy topics of advent calendars, pesto, and the closing time of his local park on 18 May at The Agenda.
Gad Elmaleh is a French-Moroccan stand-up comedian and actor who has achieved global notoriety. Seven years after his show “Sans Tambour” and an international tour of over 15 countries, Gad Elmaleh will perform at Dubai Comedy Festival. 20 May at The Agenda.
