The Grammy winner will headline the launch of the Great Gala Night series.
It’s been five years since Sir Tom Jones performed at the Emirates Airlines Dubai Jazz Festival back in 2017, joining a line-up that also featured Mariah Carey and Enrique Iglesias. His upcoming return, however, will be just about him – the Welsh superstar will headline an exclusive event at Burj Al Arab on 6 January. Hosted by M Premiere and held at Marina Garden, it will see Jones performing on a specially built outdoor stage set against the backdrop of the world-famous hotel, headlining the launch of the Great Gala Night series.
Guests will be greeted by a cocktail reception as they walk the red carpet before dining on a lavish meal. Sir Tom Jones will perform once the four-course dinner has been served. Evgeniy Morozov, CEO and Creative Director of M Premiere said, “This is a once-in-a-lifetime-opportunity to witness legendary Sir Tom Jones perform at an exclusive concert at an iconic Burj Al Arab hotel in a luxury setting. With limited seats available, this event is truly unique and stands apart from other similar events not only in the country, but in the region as well, and is going to be the highlight of the season.”
As one of the world’s most successful artists, Jones boasts 36 Top 40 hits spanning five decades as well as a string of Grammy, Ivor Novello, and Brit Awards. His repertoire includes not only 40 studio albums with over 100 million records sold, but also tracks beloved around the globe – “It’s Not Unusual”, “She’s a Lady”, and “Delilah” included. More recently, he released a new single “Surrounded By Time”, which topped the UK album chart.
