You read that right. For the first time in its 23-year history, Ultra Music Festival is heading to the Middle East.
It’s official. The world’s premier electronic music festival is bringing its first Abu Dhabi edition to Yas Island’s Etihad Park on 4 and 5 March, 2023 – and you don’t want to miss it.
The event marks Ultra’s debut in the UAE after the 2020 version of Ultra Abu Dhabi was cancelled due to the pandemic. The long wait is now over.
Heralded for delivering an unparalleled combination of top-tier electronic talent, cutting-edge technology, and large-scale productions, Ultra Worldwide will finally welcome the UAE’s community of electronic music to the Ultranaut family with the inaugural edition of Ultra Abu Dhabi.
The globally known EDM event will host two stages; the Main Stage will predominantly house the festival’s stadium-smashing sounds, while Ultra Worldwide’s renowned house and techno brand Resistance will host a stage boasting some of the festival’s best-loved underground acts.
The weekend will see an extensive list of renowned artists and world-class DJs perform live in the capital city’s largest outdoor venue. Previously confirmed acts for 2020 included sets from the likes of Afrojack, Alesso, DJ Snake, Eric Prydz, Luciano, Major Lazer, Nicky Romero, and Seth Troxler. So it’s safe to say that expectations for the 2023 line-up are high.
Alongside the flagship event in Miami, Ultra has spawned a larger series of international franchises under the blanket branding Ultra Worldwide, which have included locations such as Croatia, South Africa, South Korea, Singapore, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and now Abu Dhabi.
Pre-registration for private ticket sales is now open. The Premium General Experience pass allows access holders to dedicated entrance gates, F&B offerings as well as their own lounge area.
In addition, Ultra Abu Dhabi will offer bespoke VVIP Experiences at both stages, packed with bottle service, mind-blowing theatrics, and the very best view in the house. Details on table sales will be announced shortly on Ultra Abu Dhabi’s social media channels and website.
