DSCVR Partnership: Predator meets prey at this immersive experience in Al Quoz.
On Sunday, 26 February, get ready to experience a movie-inspired laser-tag adventure as Empire Entertainment, the theatrical distributor for Sony Pictures’ upcoming action-thriller “65,” partners with Xstrike for a Cretaceous adventure.
Prepare for an adrenaline-fueled experience as Xstrike presents the “65 Battlefield Challenge,” inspired by the upcoming action-thriller “65.” Produced by Sam Raimi, the filmmaker behind the Spider-Man trilogy and the Evil Dead franchise and directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, the writers of A Quiet Place, this movie promises to be an exhilarating adventure. Starring Adam Driver and Ariana Greenblatt as two survivors from the distant future who find themselves stranded in the Cretaceous period 65 million years ago. Armed with futuristic weaponry, they face off against dinosaurs in an epic battle between the past and the future.
Xstrike offers an exciting preview of the upcoming action-packed movie with three new game modes available on Sunday, 26 February, from 6:15pm. Like the film’s lead characters, players will rely on their instincts and advanced laser technology to survive the prehistoric challenges.
In the Prey Vs. Predator mode, two players will be randomly selected to act as predators with unlimited ammunition and 1000 health points, while the remaining players must act as prey with limited ammunition, 100 health points, and unlimited respawns.
The Dinosaurs Vs. Humans mission will involve two teams, each with a Dominator tube. The objective is to shoot the opposing team’s Dominator tube to change it to their team’s colour and earn a point. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins.
The Survival of the Fittest mode is a free-for-all game where players must score the most points by shooting each other within 65 seconds. The two remaining survivors with the most points will be crowned victorious.
Top scorers from all the missions will win tickets to attend the premiere of 65 on Wednesday, 1 March, at Reel Cinemas, Dubai Mall.
The Xstrike laser tag experience costs AED 99 for in-person bookings or AED 89 with an online booking for a 60-minute session of six game modes, including three from the 65 Battlefield Challenge. The game modes will only be available on 26 February from 6:15pm until closing.
