Dubai Crocodile Park will be home to 250 Nile Crocodiles.
If Disney’s animated movie Peter Pan taught us one thing, it was to “Never Smile at a Crocodile“, but a new animal attraction in Dubai encourages us to do just that.
Home to 250 Nile Crocodiles, Dubai Crocodile Park will take visitors on an immersive journey into the world of these fascinating reptiles.
Opening on Tuesday, 18 April, Dubai Crocodile Park is spread over 20,000 square meters in Mushrif Park. The state-of-the-art facility has been designed to provide the crocodiles with a comfortable environment, including year-round climate-controlled water and in-depth safety measures for visitors, who can enjoy panoramic views of the crocodile-filled river.

Dubai Crocodile Park will also offer an array of family-friendly experiences, including a natural history museum, an African lake-themed aquarium, and extensive outdoor areas. Visitors can view the crocodiles up close and underwater, providing a truly immersive and educational experience.
“Welfare and education are at the heart of Dubai Crocodile Park. We are thrilled to see our crocodile population thrive, with baby crocs hatching, which is a testament to our commitment to conservation,” said Tarryn Clare, the exhibit curator of Dubai Crocodile Park.
With educational panels lining the visitor’s path, specially curated sessions for school trips, and a team of expert guides, Dubai Crocodile Park will offer a unique opportunity to explore the life and history of these fascinating creatures.

In addition to the crocodiles, the park boasts multiple dining outlets and provides year-round comfort with air-conditioned spaces, all while exuding an authentic African ambience in its architecture and landscape.
Dubai Crocodile Park is open daily from 10am to 10pm. Tickers cost AED 95 per person and can be purchased at the park entrance.
