Beloved in cities like London and New York, Swingers will debut on Bluewaters Island later this year.
Adults-only revelry has a new address at the upcoming Swingers Dubai, but don’t let its name fool you. A globally-renowned entertainment brand that has introduced cities worldwide to a unique take on crazy golf, it transports guests to a 1920s English country golf club where gourmet street food and craft cocktails make for a social experience unlike any other. While an exact opening date is yet to be revealed, we know it will debut towards the end of summer and take up residence on Bluewaters Island, right at the foot of Ain Dubai.
Crazy golf, for the uninitiated, is a more whimsical and eccentric variation of mini golf. And at Swingers Dubai, it’s combined with casual bites, strong beverages, and banging beats in a theatrical space — picture an old-school art deco clubhouse surrounded by rolling golf courses and abundantly covered in trees and flowers. Three immersive cocktail bars and three well-known street food vendors are already confirmed for the local outpost.
The sheer size of this attraction – 22,000 square feet and two floors – means there will be plenty of room to play. We’re told that the venue can hold up to 650 guests and features three exciting, immersive and competitive crazy golf courses with classic English themes: the Hot Air Balloon Course, the Waterwheel Course, and the Clocktower Course. It’s not just all about the games, either.
Swingers Dubai will feature the brand’s first-ever speakeasy offering a luxe private bar and crazy golf course — the perfect location for exclusive functions and events. And with DJs providing the soundtrack every day, it promises to be the perfect haunt for groups of friends and work parties. Swingers, incidentally, started as a pop-up in the UK back in 2014, and now operates venues in London, Washington DC, and New York City. The upcoming branch in Dubai aside, the brand is also gearing up to launch locations in Las Vegas and Boston in the months ahead.
