Launching on 2 October, the dinner show’s seventh season is aptly dubbed DREAMVerse.
Dubai is waking up, stretching its arms and ushering in the return of outdoor brunches, beach clubs, and al fresco music festivals after a slow and scorching summer. The action is happening indoors, too. Dream has just announced its comeback, revealing that Season 7 will kick off on Wednesday, 2 October.
Inviting guests to a night where “dreams take on a whole new dimension”, the extravagant dinner-and-a-show venue at Address Beach Resort in JBR says that its theme, DREAMVerse, will translate to a futuristic journey through a parallel universe where reality is transformed into a breathtaking spectacle. Redefining entertainment with a memorable blend of light, technology and artistry, Dream will once again turn to advanced 3D mapping and light play, combined with costumes to match, to result in an awe-striking spectacle of imagination and innovation.
Under the visionary guidance of Creative Director Pierre Khadra, the DREAMVerse concept integrates cutting-edge visual effects and AI-driven storytelling to create immersive experiences where light, motion and illusion converge. The metallic and reflective costumes, meanwhile, shimmer and evolve with the play of light, amplifying the otherworldly ambiance and visual impact of every scene. You’ll enjoy 13 shows throughout the evening, each lasting between three and five minutes and played every ten minutes, ensuring a continuous flow of entertainment. And like seasons past, the closing act is expected around 12:30am, followed by a lively party that will continue late into the night.
Season 7’s culinary offerings have been designed to be equally innovative, delivering a multisensory dining experience where technology and gastronomy seamlessly blend. The Strawberry-Basil DREAM Cake will be accented with a mesmerising light display, offering a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The new Pistachio Paris-Brest, with its indulgent creamy texture, promises to delight dessert enthusiasts. Other new items include the Lobster & Prawn Salad, Gratinated Canadian Lobster, and a Seasonal Asparagus Risotto. Guests can also anticipate a new signature cocktail named the Quantum Illusion. Crafted to glow in the dark, it’s sure to spark curiosity about the science behind its luminous allure.
Starting at AED 1,000 per person, the world-class dinner show is one of many options for diners looking for a night out with a novelty factor. Iconic Parisian cabaret Crazy Horse is heading to Dubai later this year, as is Gatsby, an immersive dinner show that will transport guests to the opulent world of the Roaring Twenties.
