Expect Las Vegas opulence merged with Middle Eastern sensibilities at the country’s first casino resort.
Las Vegas has (almost) landed. The globally renowned Wynn Resorts brand is set to make its Middle East debut in Ras Al Khaimah, welcoming guests at Wynn Al Marjan Island in early 2027. Covering a staggering 60 hectares on a picturesque archipelago in the Arabian Gulf, the casino resort is set to feature 1,530 rooms, suites, and villas. It has been designed by Wynn’s in-house team to reflect a mix of regional design influences and the kind of superlative luxury that the brand is synonymous with — Wynn Resorts has more Forbes Five-Star awards than any other independent hotel group.
An icon on the Las Vegas Strip, Wynn – its flagship property – is known for design that borders on obsessiveness, service that anticipates what you want before you know it, restaurants as extravagant as the city it calls home, and a spectrum of entertainment and nightlife experiences to choose from. Closer to home, Wynn Al Marjan Island will echo the opulence of its predecessor, complete with gaming areas, making it the first of its kind in the region.
Dining and amenities
Guests will have 24 restaurants to choose from. Expect everything from Indo-Persian showstoppers to Mediterranean favourites and Japanese precision, with a few classic Sin City icons reimagined for local tastes. Whether you’re in it for the foie gras or the fire shows, it’s likely to be a spectacle. Elsewhere, 12 swimming pools, a five-star spa, a marina for yachts up to 75 metres, and 420 metres of private beach will add to the world-class amenities on offer.
Rooms
The UAE sets the bar when it comes to luxury accommodation, so it should come as no surprise to learn that Wynn Resorts has gone all out to impress. Taking what it knows of high roller havens, the guestrooms will be the epitome of indulgent escape. Floor-to-ceiling windows, for starters, will come as standard, framing unrivalled views of the Arabian Gulf. Custom lighting, a colour palette that pays homage to the golden desert, palatial sleeping quarters, and mirrored accents will be complemented by walk-in showers and freestanding tubs to wash away the day.
The final word
Ras Al Khaimah is no longer flying under the radar. Once dubbed as the “nature emirate”, it is now one of the fastest growing tourism markets in the MENA region, making Wynn Al Marjan Island’s location an obvious choice.
