Both After Dark and A Taste of Mott 32 kick off at the acclaimed Chinese restaurant this month.
Mott 32 is not slowing down. Having received a coveted Gault & Millau UAE Toque for 2025 earlier this year, the elevated Chinese restaurant begins a new chapter for summer, launching two new ways to dine this season. The first, After Dark, will be high in energy, pairing brunch with music and mixology. And then there’s A Taste of Mott 32, quietly sophisticated and curated to highlight the eatery’s best. Both culinary offerings, we’re told, will bring a fresh perspective to Chinese dining in Dubai, blending signature dishes with new energy, rhythm, and style. Here’s what to expect.

After Dark
Launching on 12 June, After Dark reimagines the traditional brunch with a stylish evening twist. Taking place every Thursday from 8pm to 10pm, this immersive nighttime dining occasion is priced at AED 345 per person and will feature a multi-course set menu alongside two hours of free-flowing selected beverages. The culinary journey will include a selection of dim sum, starters, mains, and classic rice or noodle dishes.
Diners can expect to discover options such as King Prawn Har Gow, Wok-Fried Angus Beef, and Stir-Fried Egg Noodles. Beverage highlights will include Mott’s distinctive cocktails – the Fujian Lychee, Return of Mulan, and Sichuan Margarita – as well as house wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic options. A live DJ and roaming musician will heighten the atmosphere, making After Dark the ultimate Thursday night destination for dining, drinks, and an almost-the-weekend buzz.
A Taste of Mott 32
Debuting on Monday, 16 June, A Taste of Mott 32 marks a refined new chapter in early evening dining, and will be available daily from 6pm to 8pm. Priced at AED 250 per person, with a minimum of two guests, the three-course set menu will offer standout plates from the Mott 32 repertoire, perfect for those looking to enjoy a more intimate start to the evening.

To start, the menu will include the Shredded 42 Days Peking Duck Salad with crispy taro and citrus truffle dressing, King Prawn Har Gow, Vegetable Spring Rolls, and Wood Ear Mushroom with aged balsamic and ginger. Come mains, the selection includes Braised Eggplant with chili, Wok-Fried Angus Beef, and Sweet & Sour Free-Range Chicken with dragon fruit and aged black vinegar. A Taste of Mott 32 will conclude with the delicate, yet indulgent Oolong Tea Almond & Chocolate Xiao Long Bao. Diners, take note: beverages will be served separately, allowing you the freedom to tailor your experience with a preferred pairing or enjoy the menu on its own.
