Homemade burgers, crispy fries and old-school milkshakes serve up a taste of Americana.
The latest addition to Dubai’s diverse food scene has just opened its doors with a fun twist for fast food fans who take their burgers seriously. Step inside DIME and you’ll quickly forget you’re in Al Satwa. This is a diner with a difference. Thanks to its quirky retro décor featuring leather-clad booths, wood panelling, polished metal lighting, and classic counter and accessories – right down to the squeezy ketchup bottles – you’ll be quickly transported to 1980s era America.

The surprises don’t stop there, though. If your idea of heaven is a juicy burger, hot and crispy fries and an ice cold shake, DIME could well be your go-to. That’s because this diner is so confident in the quality of its burger, it only has two on the menu. The first is a classic cheeseburger and the second is the DIME house burger, which comes with DIME’s own special sauce. Both feature home-made buns and pickles.

A limited menu doesn’t mean you’ll miss out, in fact, it’s quite the opposite. Going back to basics means each element is the very best it can be. In addition to burgers, DIME also offers nuggets, waffle fries, pies for desert and a choice of cola floats and retro milkshakes in classic flavours like chocolate, strawberry and vanilla.

DIME is the creation of TABLE4TWO, the specialist Dubai hospitality group responsible for popular eateries Rascals, Rascals Bakehouse and Zaza Slice. They have also just opened Apollo, an all-day bistro serving elevated comfort food in a laid-back, easy-chic space. You’ll find it at Palm Views West on Palm Jumeirah, just in time for your summer dining plans.
