The beloved dessert spot turns into a cosy pizzeria come dusk.
Gone are the days when Brix Café was just a go-to spot for all things sweet (at least for now). The specialty café, famed for serving incredibly complex desserts with deceptively simple names, turns into a cosy pizzeria come dusk. The new offering, aptly entitled Pizza Evenings, runs daily from 6pm to 10pm, giving diners a reason to linger past sundown in Brix Café’s intimate vicinity — tucked away at Jumeirah Fishing Harbour, it remains a culinary secret that’s undiscovered by the masses.
As for what to expect? Freshly fired pizzas for every palate. Helmed by Chef Carmen Rueda, named Pastry Chef of the Year 2025 by World’s 50 Best earlier this year, Brix Café is no stranger to dough mastery, and this new pizza chapter is no exception. Guests can now expect the same level of precision and creativity that the café is known for, served in the form of golden, blistered crusts and thoughtfully layered toppings.

As its name suggests, the Truffle Pizza – earthy, rich, and delicately creamy – leads with indulgence. The Bresaola Pizza, meanwhile, brings a smoky, savory edge with cured beef and melty cheeses. And then there’s the Bacon Pizza, which adds a playful crunch with layers of flavour that hit all the right notes. Vegetarians aren’t overlooked, with the lighter Zucchini Pizza making for a fresh and herbaceous favourite. It’s simple and perfect for summer, we’re told.
