The Plaza has been created to host corporate events, conferences and concerts in the city.
A major new attraction has been unveiled at Uptown Dubai. The Plaza, spanning 21,000 square metres, is set to become a versatile events destination, hosting corporate functions, conferences, concerts and large-scale gatherings for up to 4,000 guests.
It will connect with Uptown Tower hosting cafés, shops, offices and homes around it creating a central hub for guests. By incorporating staging, lighting and digital displays, the venue will have the capacity to attract international conferences and gatherings linked to trade, finance and tech. It will be set up for events all year round, whether it’s a conference one day, a live gig the next, or a weekend festival, the space will be open all year round.

Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and CEO of DMCC, said: “The opening of The Plaza marks a defining milestone in the evolution of Uptown Dubai, transforming the district into a destination that brings people together through business, culture, and shared experiences. Spanning 21,000 square metres and designed to host up to 4,000 guests, The Plaza introduces a scale and capability that position Uptown Dubai as a premier venue for major international events, as well as everyday community moments.”
According to the team at DMCC, the developer behind Uptown Dubai, the plaza is a big step toward making the area feel like a community rather than just a collection of buildings. It’s about creating a lively hub where people want to be. It will support Dubai’s vision to be one of the best cities in the world to live, work and visit.
