The award winning composer will bring his The Next Level tour to Etihad Arena on Yas Island in November 2026.
Hans Zimmer will return to the UAE for a live performance at Etihad Arena on Yas Island later this year.
The concert takes place on Friday, 13 November 2026, as part of the 23rd edition of Abu Dhabi Festival. It is presented by Proactiv Entertainment and Ethara, in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi and Miral.
The Abu Dhabi show forms part of Zimmer’s The Next Level world tour, featuring the composer alongside his 19 piece live band. The production combines orchestral performances with electronic elements, immersive lighting and large scale stage design, bringing some of cinema’s most recognisable soundtracks to the live stage.
Zimmer has composed music for more than 500 film, television and media projects throughout his career. His work includes scores for The Lion King, Gladiator, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Interstellar, The Last Samurai and Dune: Part One, earning him two Academy Awards, five Grammy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards.
His live performances have sold out arenas across Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. He has previously performed in the UAE, including two consecutive nights at Dubai’s Coca Cola Arena.
Doors for the Abu Dhabi concert will open at 6.30pm, with the performance scheduled to begin at 8.30pm.
