One of Ireland’s biggest ever bands is heading to Abu Dhabi this September for a one-night show at Etihad Arena.
The Irish pop-rock group will perform at Etihad Arena on Yas Island on 27 September, marking their return to the UAE for one night only.
The band needs little introduction. Formed in Dundalk in 1990, siblings Andrea, Sharon, Caroline and Jim Corr have sold over 40 million albums worldwide across a career spanning more than three decades. Their 1997 album Talk On Corners became one of the best-selling records in UK chart history, climbing to number one in its 35th week on the chart. It featured some of their most loved tracks alongside Breathless, their first UK number one single, taken from In Blue in 2000, an album that debuted at number one in 17 countries. Songs like Irresistible, Radio, What Can I Do and Dreams are all part of a back catalogue that most people know word for word.
The Corrs took a break from music for a few years to focus on family life, returning in 2015 with White Light and following it up with Jupiter Calling in 2017. They’ve spent the last couple of years touring sold-out shows across Southeast Asia, Australia, the UK, Ireland and Europe.
The Abu Dhabi show is brought to the region by Live Nation Middle East, in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi and Miral.
