Enjoy the best local and international talent during a stripped-back night of live music.
DIFC hotspot Indochine have launched ROOM 84, a new live music night that will occur on Mondays. The name draws inspiration from 1984, the year of Indochine’s New York opening and enhances the timeless appeal of the French-Vietnamese venue.
The format incorporates the concept of a stripped-back living room setting for guests to experience and interact with hand-picked local and international talent. The performances will feature a weekly rotation of singers, including Sean Lipsey, Shanice Michaels, Hiran Benton, Colin Gordon and Anthony Muthurajah, accompanied by some of the best musicians in the city. The bands will perform during a series of three live sets from 8:30pm until midnight.
DJ Belinda Becker will be flown in from New York to continue her yearly residency at Indochine. Following her induction into Paper Magazine’s New York Nightlife Hall of Fame, Belinda is set to take listeners on an eclectic journey of sound at ROOM 84. Belinda will be spinning a diverse mix of genres and tunes between the band’s set lists to keep the crowd electrified into the night.
Indochine’s eternally stylish tropical décor and fine dining options sets ROOM 84 apart. With the terrace reopened, those seated in the dining room can also experience a close-up view of the band’s live performance whlle dining on a selection of small plates and sipping on handcrafted cocktails.
