Four distinct cooking techniques come together every Saturday at this immersive Japanese eatery in FIVE LUXE.
Keep your brunch game strong as you go into 2025, starting with brunch with a side of rebellion à la Ronin. Inspired by Japan’s rebel warriors (hence the name), the all-new, irezumi-inspired brunch serves bold Japanese cuisine through four distinct cooking techniques: teppanyaki live cooking, hand-rolled sushi, kushiyaki, and robatayaki grill.
Served every Saturday from 1pm to 4:30pm, the Ronin Brunch starts at AED 395 for the non-alcoholic package, with an upgrade to the house package setting you back AED 495 and featuring bottomless drinks. On the menu is pure decadence — the fire-cooked A5 Wagyu Hambagu steak takes centre stage, but you’ll also dine on the likes of gyozas and hand-rolled sushi as a kimono-clad DJ further fuels the weekend festivities. And while gong sounds, red lanterns, rows of sake bottles, and folklore motifs reminiscent of traditional yakuza tattoos set the scene, it’s the striking views of the recently reopened Dubai Eye and the endless Arabian Sea from the stylish terrace that make it perfect for the season.
Ronin, incidentally, is located on Level 9 of the always lively FIVE LUXE resort and Dubai’s only pagoda dining experience. With celebrity chef Sin Keun Choi ‘SK’ at the helm, it invites guests to indulge in the artistry of Japanese delights infused with the spirit of the wandering warrior. Whether you opt for the live fire cooking at its teppanyaki and sushi bar, share a meal at one of the pagoda-style tables, or experience the intimacy of private dining, each space exudes the playfully defiant vibe of Ronin.
