An eclectic four-course menu that explores the bold flavours of India with a contemporary global twist.
La Mer has become a Dubai talking point. The beachfront development from Meraas Holdings sits on the former site of Jumeirah Beach Park presents the expected cubic retail outlets that have proven popular in JBR, Al Seef and BoxPark.
Situated at the far end of La Mer South is the Indian inspired MASTI, a sizeable venue that encompasses a restaurant, lounge, and terrace ideal for sundowners while taking in the view over the Arabian Gulf. With vibrant interiors and a beguiling cocktail menu, MASTI has garnered quite a reputation for its modern take on Indian cuisine and its frivolous weekend brunch offering.
MASTI’s new ‘Mischievous Monkey Brunch’ takes place on Saturdays and looks to bring a playful spirit to wind down your weekend in style. With monkeys seen to be symbolic of playfulness, humour, mischief, and curiosity, guests will see their interest piqued as they enter into the colourful urban oasis that is MASTI. Eclectic jungle theming, colourful upholstery, golden gilded screens resembling palm fronds, and plenty of foliage to complete the look of an eccentric Indian summerhouse.

Chef Prashant has created an eclectic four-course menu that explores the bold and effervescent flavours of India with a contemporary global twist. The brunch menu features classic MASTI favourites as well as new dishes to excite and delight inquisitive palates. The result is a show-stopping and truly decadent dining experience.
To start the MASTI Saturday Brunch, guests can choose one cold appetiser and one hot appetiser from various dishes that include Corn and Moongsprout Chaat, Pulled Tandoori Chicken Bao, and Mastified Kejariwal.
After palates have been primed, delve into the main course and choose one dish from an eclectic selection, including Not Your Average Pizza with Burrata, Truffle and Makhani Sauce or Beef Scotch Eggs. In true MASTI style, favourites such as Straciatella Butter Chicken and New Style Biryani also feature.
Ending the meal on a sumptuously sweet high are desserts such as Choco-Lotus Delight and Rasmalai Coconut Cake – beautiful expressions of flavour, texture and culinary theatre.

Expert mixologists will serve a compelling selection of cocktails, mocktails and house-pours to sip and savour throughout the afternoon. At the same time, an elevated soundtrack of live instrumental music and soothing vocals from Jose Ramon set the tone for a relaxed weekend afternoon.
With Masti translating from Hindi as ‘fun and mischief’, it’s an accurate description of the vibrant venue and exciting new brunch concept.
The MASTI Saturday Brunch is available every Saturday, from 1pm-5pm. AED 195 (soft beverages) and AED 295 (house beverages).
