Cult California burger joint is back with a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it takeover.
The wildly popular US burger brand In-N-Out is landing in Dubai for one day only on Wednesday, 16 April. The pop-up will be flipping patties from 10am to 3pm (or until they run out) at Switch Bowling, tucked inside the India Court of Ibn Battuta Mall.
If that sounds familiar, it’s because this isn’t their first rodeo. In-N-Out popped up in Dubai in 2021 with a similar limited-time teaser. This time, they’re back to celebrate Ibn Battuta Mall’s 20th anniversary.
Founded in 1948 by Harry and Esther Snyder, In-N-Out started as California’s first drive-thru hamburger stand. Fast forward to today, and it’s become a bit of a cult obsession, refusing to franchise, staying family-owned, and sticking to a tight, no-fuss menu.
It’s been name-dropped in movies like The Big Lebowski, featured in song lyrics, and famously became a post-Oscars tradition for celebrities.
You’ll need a wristband to claim a burger, and those are being handed out on a first-come, first-served basis. Quantities are limited, so plan to show up early if you’re serious about snagging one.
This isn’t a full-blown opening (sorry, no permanent location just yet), but it’s a rare chance to get a taste of the West Coast legend right here in Dubai.
