Curated especially for Ramadan, Signor Sassi’s Iftar menu brims with dishes designed to be shared and celebrated, together. Take your seat by the island bar, or hide away under the pergola canopy, and you easily imagine yourself in Naples as plate after plate of sunshine food teases your senses.
Served from sundown as the call to prayer punctuates the night sky, Signor Sassi’s carefully curated Iftar menu is a celebration of both Ramadan and classic Italian hospitality. Designed to be enjoyed by a minimum of two guests, the Iftar menu is priced at AED 275 per person.
Classic Italian plates intended to be shared
Starters pay homage to some of Italy’s most iconic dishes; a Pizzetta Margherita, named after Queen Margherita, creamy burrata with small, sweet Datterino tomatoes, and silky aubergine parmigiana served with mozzarella and salty parmesan. Signor Sassi’s classic salad is the perfect bookend to the initial chapter in an exquisite culinary journey, and comes studded with asparagus, avocado, artichokes and mozzarella.
A choice of generous main courses, served to a backdrop of flicking candlelight, includes rich and hearty meatballs in a traditional tomato sauce or delicate Scottish salmon fillet accompanied by a flavoursome Sicilian caponata made in the Signor Sassi kitchen.
The sweetest note
A trio of deserts pays further tribute to the traditional warmth of Italian hospitality and marks an indulgent end to a celebration of the Holy Month, with dark chocolate profiteroles, a classic tiramisu and refreshing mixed fruit sorbet to enjoy together.
Guests are invited to sip on a mocktail throughout their meal. There are two to choose from, Fresco and Rush Hour, each a carefully curated accompaniment to the heaty, nourishing and comforting menu.
