The new restaurant, opposite the flagship at Dar Wasl Mall, introduces a breakfast and cake menu, in addition to à la carte lunch and dinner service.
Reif Japanese Kushiyaki expands with the opening of a third outlet in Dubai, as the company celebrates its second anniversary this month. The new restaurant is at Dar Wasl Mall opposite chef-owner Reif Othman’s flagship serving an à la carte lunch and dinner menu and a selection of creative cakes.
Asagohan, the Japanese morning breakfast meal is a new addition, available at both Dar Wasl Mall outlets every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 16 September, from 8.30am until 3pm. The menu showcases a mix of savoury and sweet Far Eastern-inspired breakfast dishes alongside European classics – all boasting Reif’s unconventional twist on Japanese street food. Dishes offered include tamago sando with milk bread and tonkatsu sauce, monkey bread with kaya jam and salted butter, galette with a selection of fillings such as cheese, walnuts and honey, and Reif Benedict with steamed buns, shiso-cured salmon and yuzu kosho hollandaise. Prices range from AED 25 to AED 70.
Meanwhile, Reif’s trademark desserts, including mini versions of the Instagram-famous ‘toilet roll’ lemon and yuzu cake, are available all day for dine-in, takeaway, and delivery through Deliveroo.
“We have opened another outlet in the same mall to accommodate increased demand, whilst also overcoming lack of space due to dining restrictions. We are now able to seat 46 covers indoors across both outlets, whilst we look forward to adding more tables when the weather cools down and the terrace re-opens,” said Reif Othman, chef-owner, Reif Japanese Kushiyaki, who received the UAE’s Golden Visa in June.
Additional new openings are scheduled for the first franchised Reif Japanese Kushiyaki restaurant in the world, in Cairo for October 2021. Three new franchised locations have also been signed for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, opening next year.
