Regular DSCVR readers will already know that we are huge fans of Chaps & Co. The homegrown male grooming haven already has six locations in Dubai (including D3, JLT, Caesars Palace and a new opening at Bloomingdale’s inside The Dubai Mall) and one in Abu Dhabi.
With international expansion on the horizon, including a two-story, five chair barbershop in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Chaps & Co recently opened in New York’s trendy NoMad neighbourhood on 1 December 2021.
The new barbershop at 1165 Broadway is located conveniently close to Madison Square Park and marks the first United States location for the premier men’s grooming experts.
“Five years ago, men were going to unisex salons but the modern man was beginning to take an unprecedented interest in his grooming. We saw an opportunity to disrupt the grooming market for men by rolling out our brand, first across the UAE and now in New York City, where the men’s grooming market is starting to thrive,” said Jordan Davies, the British-born founder of Chaps & Co.
