Mixologists from Mexico’s esteemed Licoreria Limantour will take over MASTI’s cocktail station.
A five-day bar takeover will see the Indian-fusion eatery, MASTI, hosting globally-acclaimed mixologists José Luis León and Eduardo Nava Mendoza. The two mixologists hail from Mexico’s esteemed Licorería Limantour bar, which recently took sixth place in “The World’s 50 Best Bars” 2021 Awards.
As a mixology enthusiast with cocktail creation expertise of more than 14 years, José Luis is considered one of the best bartenders in Mexico and received the first place accolade at the World Class Mexico competition in 2021. On the other hand, Eduardo Nava Mendoza has worked within the hospitality industry for over eight years, during which he managed multiple bars in Mexico City, including Licorería Limantour.
As part of the exclusive five-day bar takeover event, which runs from Tuesday 25 to Saturday 29 January, MASTI x Limantour has created a special cocktail menu. The cocktails include the “Margarita Al Pastor” mixed with taco and lime juice, the “God of War” blended with pineapple, pepper oxymel and Perrier Grapefruit, and the”Jaggery-Old-Fashioned” served with pistachio, tonka beans and tangy Jerry Thomas bitters.

Famed for its exuberant vibes, flavourful cuisine and lively entertainment, MASTI will see its atmosphere lighten up when the acclaimed bartenders showcase their eye-catching bottle flipping skills and eccentric flavoured cocktails at the opulent bar station.
This new takeover represents the third bar takeover for the beloved eatery, which welcomed Lebanese bartender Jad Ballout of Beirut’s Electric Bing Sutt and Ranveer Kumar of India’s Sidecar last year.
