The safari retreat has carried out extensive upgrades on its collection of 30 villas to offer an even more refined experience.
The Anantara Al Sahel Villa Resort has today thrown open the doors to its reimagined residences, seamlessly blending a privileged location in the heart of Sir Bani Yas Island’s magical wilderness with a heightened sense of luxury.
Designed for guests seeking a private escape without sacrificing on creature comfort, each of the 30 villas takes a cue from its surroundings, with a colour palette reflective of the encircling savannah. Natural materials are used in abundance, with the rustic décor and Africa-inspired accents complemented by indoor-outdoor living spaces.
As a result of the remodeling, each upgraded villa now offers an extended deck area and private pool with outdoor showers, comfortable loungers, shaded seating area and dedicated outdoor dining space. One-bedroom villas now also offer privacy fencing to one side, while family villas are fully enclosed with barasti fencing, creating a serene retreat without compromising on the convenience that comes from luxury hotel living.
Sir Bani Yas Island is a protected reserve, created by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and is home to more than 30 different species, including flamingos, gazelles, and giraffes. With conservation projects and heritage in abundance, Anantara Al Sahel guests can explore the area with excursions such as a wildlife safari, bonfire feasting, falconry shows and afternoon tea in the savannah before retreating to their villa for dinner under the stars.
A variety of packages are available, including the Island Discovery package, priced from AED 2,500++ per night, with children under 12 staying for free. This package includes a villa stay, breakfast at the resort’s Savannah Grill & Lounge and a complimentary late checkout. A AED 300 spa credit is also included and can be redeemed for selected 90-minute treatment packages.
