The world’s most beloved classical superstar is back – and he’s bringing the magic of waltz to Yas Island once again.
Dutch violinist and conductor André Rieu is set to perform live at Etihad Arena on Saturday 18 October, following the huge success of his record-breaking 2024 UAE debut.
Known for his charisma, showmanship, and joyful energy on stage, Rieu will be joined by his 60-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra and international soloists for a unique evening filled with iconic waltzes, opera arias, film scores and romantic ballads.
Presented by MAC Global in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, the concert promises a full-scale production packed with stunning visuals, elaborate costumes, and that signature André Rieu warmth that turns classical concerts into party-like experiences.
The legendary “King of Waltz” has sold over 40 million albums, boasts more than 500 platinum awards, and commands a social media audience of 16 million fans – not to mention billions of views on YouTube.
Speaking ahead of the concert, Rieu shared: “I am so excited to return to Abu Dhabi! It is always a special experience to perform for such passionate audiences. Together with my Johann Strauss Orchestra, we’ll bring you an unforgettable evening filled with waltzes, opera arias, beautiful songs, and a lot of fun!”
